I love David's happy dance. He makes me smile. Git it, git it.

Bye-bye...
That said, it's not going anywhere. It apparently enhances sales. Besides, let's face it, there's no substance to QVC anymore. Come to think of it, not much style either...

"DO NOT PUT T PAPER DOWN THE COMMODES"! I'm a believer! no more will be going down my commodes. bag it and give to the trash pick up boys LOL
why don't they make biodegradeable t paper I'd like to know! with all this eco 'stuff' going on why ain't somebody griping about t paper that won't dissolve in the septic lines?
Sharke - Sorry you had to deal with this. I can relate. We have this situation every 8-10, or so, months where we have to have a plumber come out and put this long thing with razor sharp things on it, down that hole in front of the house.
But the issue isn't t-paper. It's tree roots. He said that regular, 2-ply, toilet paper isn't problematic. But definitely things like pre-moistened towelettes and stuff like that, EVEN if they say they are safe for flushing. He said to never ever do that.
I wonder if you might have a tree root situation, also. The good thing is that I learned the signs after the first time. In my bathroom, I have my shower not that far from the toilet and I can tell that there is a problem when I flush the toilet and then, a second or two later after the toilet evacuates, I hear this *BLOOP* sound from the area of the shower. The shower has never backed up, but that's what it sounds like.
So now, as soon as I hear that I know to get the plumber because the thought of having it get really bad is enough to make me want to move!

Thanks chickenbutt, hun, I wish it was that simple. Here in Tx don't have any trees LOL. New home just 5 yrs. old only trees are ones we bought in but that wasn't the problem. When he popped the flush line (not the septic tank only 2 people and young home he knew it wasn't the tank) charmin came floating up to the top of the lid. He went and got some kind of gizmo and ran extension line and it sucked up all the hair and debris in one fell swoop. Charged close to 200 and said "never throw t p down the commodes, No kids in house and I've had hysto yrs. ago so no other objects down it either.
I sent Charmin a email telling them they should make a biodegradeable t p that automatically dissolves. They just said it wasn't their paper it was bunch of other possibilities. Phooey..........I know people whose kids flush down stuffed animals and women who flush down monthly products, but, my house was strictly charmin and white cloud. LOL
Now, I line my wastebaskets with walmart sacks and dispose of in weekly trash pick up.

Only trees we have on that side, had them bought in when they were 5 ft tall. Line and septic tank are to the right. I think you were talking about big ol' established trees.
