Ham cooked in crockpot -- maybe with Cola??

I'm not a big ham cooker, but this Thanksgiving I am going to make one. I am thinking of making it in my crockpot (slow cooker) with one of the coca cola & brown sugar recipes I see on the internet. Looks like just cook it on low for about 7-8 hrs. till 140 degrees. Any suggestions?
