Anyone watching?

I missed how or why (maybe they didn't say) those 2 ladies from last year's show were introduced back into the competition.

Anyone read about?

I have only watched this show a couple of seasons but it appears that both of these women were first runner-up's on previous seasons and they are being given another chance at the big prize.

They added the 2 ladies in as competitors on the most recent show.

It was not really explained. They let 2 of the new bakers go in the first episode and then brought back these 2 former ladies to continue. Seems silly to me.

I love those type of shows---can't believe what the carvers can do with the things they carve and the sugar people---amazes me!!

I watched a bit of the new Halloween Wars. They got a new host who just calls in, plus they got rid of the small scare and changed the way they drop teams. Worst of all, they don't have the pumpkin carvers any more! It's really just another cake show. I turned it off after the judges started getting really silly and loud. 

Disappointing.

I missed the first 2 minutes and then all of a sudden these women that I recognized were on.

I thought they were going to bring them back, they should of been with the original group unless they didn't have a station for them to bake, maybe that's what is was but then reduce the group or put them on next season.

Just didn't think it was fair.

@Just Bling  @Xivambala I didn't think it was fair either.  I would have been disgusted if I were one of the originals.  The new ones didn't have to go thru the first couple of bakes and then they were boosted up and certainly didn't earn it. 

Kinda lost my interest.  I will watch, but won't be cheering for those two.  Nothing against them, just the PTB for their poor judgement.

Is this the one with John Henson hosting and the 3 judges include Carla Hill and that cute young man who's a baker (sorry I cannot recall his name right now)? 

I've been watching that one and enjoying it.  I like Henson and I grew to really like Carla early on.
