I had a similar gadget many years ago.  This one should work well as long as the suction has enough hold that normal use doesn't dislodge it.

Congrats on getting your color!

I got the KA food processor and a Oster processor too didn't really need it

LOL I got a big ol piece of granite slab on my quartz counter top should

suction down on that type of surface.

Liked the boiled egg and cheese presentations. Hubbo is big cole slaw eater and on rare occasions I'll choke down a salad constantly chopping pickles and onions.

I got the gray - only color leftWoman Frustrated!

Saw different brand on amazn, cheaper with good reviews, but appeared to have round base and shorter; thought this one being a little taller (for cranking) and base square (assume holds better) so got this one, too.

Thanks for the tip, @SharkE.  Was looking something like this - electric choppers are great for big jobs, but for small everyday, this will be my goto.

Glad to be of help. Why I post on this Kitchen thread . I like to share what I've bought and why I think it will work for me. If others find similar uses for products makes us all good cooks and easier ways to get stuff done in the kitchen is always a good thing.

They should give me a discount ! LOL

No, really, I hope we both enjoy it, be sure and watch his presentation video.

If I find it , not as presented I'll report that , also

Sorry, about the red !   I saw last night Meredith bought on those silicone measuring cups that I reported on week or so ago. OXO, from Bed & Bath.

I'm ahead of my time. LOL

I know exactly what you mean as I have a large slab of marble on my counter that came off of an old building that was razed.  It still has a hole where a bolt held its weight.  My son had eyes on it and I said "no way", he gets it when I'm gone or demented and not before.  You'll have no suction issue!

Girl, those granite thick pieces are pricey.  Mine has recessed grooves on the sides to where you can pick it up easier.

Mine, is a not picked up special order she told the guy what she wanted and then never paid for it , so, he got stuck with it and let me have it for 100.

Nothing better for dough stuff, dumplings, pie crusts, bread and biscuit making.   Hubbo picks it up twice a yr so I can clean underneath it I have it on a skid mat to just to make sure it doesn't hurt my quartz counter top.

Hope that gadget does a good job excited to get it !

I got that item too, in the grey!! I saw what it did to the block cheese and man, I was on it like a wet t-shirt!!!!  I was buying shredded cheese, which is awful to cook with--too many things that coat each piece--bought block cheese, which is so hard for my stupid monkey fingers to use a box grater on. This is worth $40 to grate cheese as easy as it does. I have the electric mandoline, which works well but too many pieces to assemble. Woman Very Happy
