He had for 15.00 a vertical roaster think it was stainless steel that you could bake either a chicken or small turkey in. All the broth that would roll off the bird you could make gravy out of.

 

I got a vertical roaster that I got from long time ago that is stoneware that just has the funnel opening.

Liked this one better.. I'll baste the bird with butter and salt and pepper it .  Crispy bird. I like (thank God) chicken and turkey better then beef.

 

Could marinade it too with smoke flavoring, bbq sauce,

etc.

 

Might be gone by now.

Yay ! make my own 'rotisserie' chicken now.

Last one I bought from store was burned.

Those are total knockoffs of the original Spanek, which I've owned for well over 30 years (plus other sizes for Cornish game hens and small turkey). These are terriffic!  Several days ago I read that you can use a plain bundt pan to do the same job.
