I'm watching a presentation and trying to figuree out how this is different from a lightweight Dutch oven on a hot plate?

The Ninja people must have run out of ideas.

I inherited something similar....a large Corning casserole on an accompanying "hot plate".     It's been in the garage for over 20 years..  di

@Desertdi.  Yours is much nicer.  Better get it out and use it.  It's the latest thing.

I live alone and I get by with an 8" and 10" fry pan, a couple small pots, microwave and  a toaster oven.

@Desertdi   I have just the casserole dish you posted on the "hot plate."

It was part of a set.  If you look on e-bay and check the prices out for older Corning ware, you will see you are sitting on a goldmine.  Those pieces are selling for unheard of prices.

I have never seen the " the thing" you posted.  Maybe it's rare.

I found it.  Make sure you're sitting down.

Re: HSN TS Ninja Foodi Cooker

AMEN! @catter70

A long time older friend that also lives alone and eats like a bird just purchased a big rice cooker. I have never known or seen her eat rice in her life. Granted she may want a change, but a microwave or saucepot would do the trick. As it is, almost every square inch of her kitchen counter is covered with something and the cupboards are full of various appliances.

Needless to say, I was gobsmacked as I tried to find a place to put my handbag down in the kitchen amongst all the clutter. Tempted to buy the Ninja 10-in-1....NOT ME!
