Maybe you'd like to pop a couple in a mug of hot chocolate or use some in a fruit salad, a big blob wouldn't work for those.

 

Or a recipe that calls for measuring them, for instance it calls for 1 cup miniature marshmallows.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I don’t know the secret to separating them once they are stuck together, but storing them in the freezer prevents the problem of stuck marshmallows.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.  I tried the refrigerator routine before I asked for help, didn't work.  I'll put them in the freezer and see if that works.  And I use them mostly because I love hot cocoa with mallows floating on the top and it is a sticky mess now since I have to dig them out with my fingers.  They weren't old, just bought them a week and a half ago but of course I don't know how long they were in the store.
