Finally got back to this wonderful Asian market yesterday with DD. It's a great time of year for produce there, as are most places. I bought a few packages of my fave fresh mushrooms----some ---she-taki--(have to spell this carefully or it will get the mod axe)---should be an "i" where the e is, the king oyster mushrooms---those can be cooked and actually taste like scallops---then got a Korean melon, some little donut peaches and a few pluots. And we didn't raid their fabulous bakery on the way out--so many beautiful pastries--- then went to Ruebinstein bagels for a sammie and then----across the street to a new Paris Baguette bakery and OH WOW---talk about amazing pastries, sweet and savory. Can you tell I am all about those types of carbs??!! Also the TSV potstickers were waiting for me at home too---those are really very good---fixed some rice and steamed a few of those up and had dinner---a good day for shopping.
