Has anyone (that is a fan of the groovetech knives), noticed all the new ones coming out have the TPR comfort-grip handles? I have both, and I don't really care for those. I find I have better control and balance with the hard plastic handled ones. I wonder if they'll come out with some new knives/sets with hard plastic handles soon.
I especially like the marbled plastic sets they had at one time. You got a 6 inch chefs, and a 5 inch mezza. I use those knives a LOT. I also use my set of 2 - 4" paring knives (both straight edge and hard plastic handle) quite a bit for coring and such.
Just was wondering how others felt about the TPR comfort-grip handles......

I havne't seen the comfort grip handles. I have the other two kinds of handles. These are my favorite knives in the kitchen.Unless it's an OXO kind of comfort grip I don't think I would like it. I'm glad I got mine when I did.

I have several groovetech knives, and love them..I find myself using those more than any other, and reasonably priced. After reading your message I probably wont buy them again. Why must they always change("improve"), a good thing?!!! I like the hard handles!!
