@OKPrincess    That's how I cooked liver and venison for years.  Neither dh or son knew what they were eating.  I just called it "the meat".  I used it for venison because I didn't like the taste of venison and it was camoflaged.

@Kachina624 Good idea, with me it would be a fajata salad.   I can't stand flour tortillas.   They taste like flour and water to me.

@Kachina624  So do I. Sometimes I cut them into triangles, bake them and I have tortilla chips.

I just had a sub with these ingredients, except I had chicken instead of beef. I love the sautéed mushrooms and melted provolone.

If the venison was camouflaged I could eat it too -- maybe.

For some color - red peppers add a lot.

Tonight:  first picking of my cherry tomatoes - wash (of course) cut each in half - heat fry pan with butter and olive oil - add garlic of some form - parsley - s/p .....and then ...........stir - spin around tomatoes which have not picked up the garlic, etc.  Pour over whatever meat or veggie you are having.  Oh, add Parm cheese at the end.

Yum Yum

And I sometimes add sliced zuchinni, and then add spegetti, then cheese. I don't half the tomatoes, they will open with the heat. This is yum too.
