I got a set of Green Life Cookware for Christmas! It's ceremic non stick.  I won't put in the dishwasher because it cleans so well, and fast!  Today I made mac n cheese in the big pan, non of it stuck, and it was so easy to clean.  So I just wondered if any of you ever had this set.  My daughter bought it at Kohl's.  I still use a couple pieces of my stainless steel, but it does stick, so I just use it to boil potatoes.  It says on the Green Life to use oil or butter on it, very little, and I did and it was great!  So easy to clean.

I have 2 greenlife pans, I think I bought them from QVC-they came with the lids so I grabbed them, not sure if they were TSV or clearance. I love them, they are my 'go to' frying pans.

If I were in the market, these would be in the running, along with Caraway and Carote.  Ceramic cookware is a great choice.

I don't have that brand, but I do have many pieces of ceramic cookware.

It requires specific care.  First, don't cook anything on high heat.  You must use oil/butter for frying and heat up the oil first before putting the food in.

Always use spoons and turners that will not scratch the bottoms and sides.  Hand wash, so do not use a dishwasher.

Even though the instructions might say ceramic pieces are oven proof, the oven will break down the ceramic after a time.

I also still use my SS pieces that I bought for my hope chest before I was married. They're over 50 years old and it's the only cookware that has lasted me more than a few years.  Hang on to yours.  It will outlast your new ceramic cookware and it is safe...no bad chemical releases.

Enjoy your new cookware.  Did you get your set in a fun color?

I did not get them in a fun color, but that's fine.

They were a black friday special, I was told. But they work so well.  Yes, I know about using oil, and that's good, I haven't preheated it yet though. My husband made eggs in it, and that was excellent.  I read that silicone utensils are recommended.  Mine are so old, that I'm getting a whole new set of silicone utensils Sunday, all in pretty colors and and cup to put them in on top of the counter. That saves a lot of room in the drawer.  I have 3 stainless steel pans I'm not getting rid of though, I like the whistle on it when it boils.
