It is a total blizzard here in northern Western New York...between Lake Erie & Lake Ontario. We have missed most of the storms that have clobbered south of Buffalo...not this one!

I WISH I did have the stuff to make chilli tonight (if I ever make it home from work!)

But I do have the next best thing...I have left overs of the Philly Chesse Steak Soup in Bread bowls! (You can search for the recipe...it was recently posted by Lola on 1/23/14. Sorry...I couldn't get the link to paste!)

YUMMY and very comforting in this mess! DH said I should make it every week! I think I will...until this winter ends next May!!!

Here in Northern California it is partly cloudy, 58 degrees with rain predicted starting tomorrow. We really need the rain. I just made a clean out the fridge vegetable soup. Tomorrow is my weigh in date at Weight Watchers and I have to be within 2 pounds of my goal weight. Hoping the soup will help.

No chili here ... but DH made a pot of tomato soup today. His mother always made this recipe and although we can't duplicate her soup it was very good. Served with bits of bread toasted in the oven. This soup goes great with toasted cheese sandwiches.

Love chili on a snowy day. This winter I would have had to me 20 kettles.
