Please solve this frustrating mystery to me!

I have changed dishes and flatware. I only buy 18/10 flatware and have tried different types of dishes.

We are not meat and potato people who are cutting steaks on our china. No children. So WHAT to do, what is the cause?!?!?! {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

I just bought yet another set of dishes and am hoping to prevent /manage this problem.

Thanks so much!

Fiesta recommends Wright's Copper Cream to remove the marks. I use it on my Fiesta and buy it from Amazon.

Try that and see if that works on your dishes.

I never use anything other than Cascade 'pillows'. Before Cascade I used different gels, powders and had a real mess on my hands. Never have a problem now, and will never use any other dishwasher brand. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Thanks for that info. I was not aware of that product.

My dishes are Fiesta also. I've used Magic Erasers with pretty good success.

We haven't had a big problem with this - only with my husband, who seems to be trying to cut his way through to China on the plate. I finally said 'dude, why are you trying to rip through that plate with the knife?'. Of course, he didn't realize he was doing that so he lightened up on the plate and the problem went away. They're pretty funny! Smiley Happy

I will try this! Thank you. I have an Amazon order all ready to go, so this is perfect timing I can add it on and get free shipping.

I've never gotten marks on my plates that the white sponge didn't remove.

Use a dab of Barkeeper's Friend cleaner

Anything non-abrasive like that should work. Monke~

If your dishes are stoneware they will get the marks when you cut food.
