Grapeseed oil substitute?

I came across a recipe for a fresh pear cake and the shortening is grapeseed oil. First, I'm not familiar with it, and second, I don't have any, and third, I don't want to go searching for it now. Do you think I can substitute another vegetable oil for the grapeseed?
