the Ninja? I have turned the Q on off and on today and almost every time it was a
presentation of the ninja. Since I am not interested I turned it to investigation ID.

Poor Bob Worden was wondering the same thing - how many more times...

They really flog the TSV every day, no matter what it is. I'd rather see presentations of shorter duration -- those hour-long presentations are overkill.

Way they do all those TSV's. Could be the Vitamix or Keurig, etc. They have a blue million and they're gonna sell a blue million. Masterbuilt smoker was that way, too. I just move on. LOL

They showed this item for an hour...REALLY? UGH. ![]()
However, it really doesn't "surprise me" that the Q oftentimes shows the 1 hour demonstrations (I guess it's 'cost effective' for them) with no models, it's one-on-one with a Vendor/Host.
But IT'S CERTAINLY BORING for us viewers ! The most recent example that I saw was Jill, and her scarfing down everything that The Vendor had prepared during the Hour Long Show. Plus, her annoying YUM, after every shoveling of the food into her mouth, was a complete TURN OFF to me !
I'm SO Happy that Jill got to eat her Dinners, (yes that's plural) during her Show (while adding to her paycheck, her "Yums/Ooohs/Ahhs/Yes"! commentaries during her presentation along with the Sales she made while doing so)
I would think that she didn't leave the Q 'hungry'.

When they are selling so many of them -- tens of thousands -- why would they stop presenting them. QVC is in business to make money. It is not a sin for them to sell items. In fact, if they did not sell items, they would not exist.

I was listening to that in the background, and yes, she certainly did her share of 3 bites of this and that, 4 bites of that and this. I did grin to myself when she requested a second dessert...MY kinda girl!
Sorry David fans, but he leaves me cold on his food segments. Dislike how he's always checking himself out in the monitor when he eats.

Tis not overly appealing to observe any of the hosts constantly munching down while also trying to host - I have caught a few of the afternoon 3 hour food shows that they do periodically and a few of the regular hosts who work them don't seem as enamored with constant eating on air (Sharon, Leah, Sandra as examples) - they usually take a bite and end it there. I have seen them take a portion when the other host is presenting (since they usually have two hosts do these shows ) somewhere off air to eat it which I feel is more appropriate, and probably a heck of a lot more enjoyable and relaxing for them.
It is just becoming overdone and not terribly appealing to watch anyone continually eat their way thru food shows - we obviously expect them to rant and rave how good everything is. What are they going to do - take a bite, scowl and say how awful it is - don't think so (but the image of that is actually comical to me)

I watched David in the Kitchen last night-seemed to me that all Jill and David did was eat. Even when he was showing his cook book.
Bob Worden was so tired on the last show he forgot to put the chicken back in the cooker
