Glasses * Cups in Cabinet?

[ Edited ]

Do you put your glasses and cups in the cabinets  UP or DOWN?

I have them with the top facing up..

All glasses and cups in my cupboard are upside down, opening down.

Open side down.  I come from a  "restaurant" family.   Glasses and cups are stored upside down as to avoid collecting dust and pollutants. You won't pass inspection if the upen ends are placed up.

I just do the same at home.

Down.  Keeps the inside cleaner than up and exposed to germs, dust, etc.

Down.  Even tho I keep them in cupboards so probably don't have to worry so much about dust, I just feel like it keeps the insides cleaner.

Down. Our glasses and mugs that we use for daily living are in the kitchen cabinet with the opening down. Our crystal stemware in the dining room hutch is up. I will wash it before using.

We live in the dry, dusty Southwest so dust is an ongoing battle in our homes.
