I bought a tub of sugared ginger for a cookie recipe, and I have most of it left. I was wondering what some of you do with this product, any ideas ? TIA.

@QVCkitty1

Can you steep it in hot water for tea and add lemon?

@QVCkitty1  I too was going to suggest to steep a few pieces in hot water and drink as tea.  It's also great for calming an upset or queasy stomach.

You can  also add the crystalized ginger to cookie dough and it's a nice addition.  I, just today, added some to a tube of gingerbread cookie dough and baked the cookies.  They were delicious.

I love just nibbling on pieces of candied ginger. But I use it everyday in my hot tea. Tazo green tea with ginger, then I add my own ginger slices to the cup on top of that. yummy!
