Re: George Forman grill question

Tigriss just took pork chops out of the freezer this morning..might try the grill with this although, I usually stuff, bread, fry and then bake my chops..thanks for the info, tho..also, as far as cleaning goes, the grill I bought has the removeable plates so I don't think cleaning will be a problem. poohbear

Re: George Forman grill question

My grill is older and it has a set of removable plates. They just pop out and are really easy to clean.  I have no idea if this grill is still made. I use mine for almost everything.  Grilled cheese, burgers, skinless boneless chicken and port chops.

Re: George Forman grill question

@poohbear1

We originally purchased the first Forman Grill and used it for ages.  Finally gave it to Goodwill and puchased the one that was larger.

We grill brats and such, but not hamburgrs, because they dry out with the meat juice trickling down into the holder.

The best use we've made of it is to purchase mild Italian sasage in a big patty.  When it's done, we let it drain more on paper towels, then chop it into little squares, add it to our Carbonara sauce and pasta vice bacon.  Ooooo, this is so good, now I want it for dinner tomorrow.
