Oh I agree, I am so glad ours have not been banned. I always reuse mine and the ones that have holes or get torn so that I cannot use them in my trash can get recycled when I make a Walmart trip.
When my sweet kitties were alive, I used them for kitty pan scoopings too.

I think the hype on this product is ridiculously over the top.
What am I missing?
I'm with you! My son has one. I don't care for it either. I like my plastic, foot pedal one. Mine is easy to clean, no touching and every so often, I can wash the entire thing in my mud room and sit it outside to get some fresh air and sunshine!(the battery one is too heavy for me to lift). Some of these new gadgets really aren't worth the money to me!

I bring so much stuff/food/items to other people.....they were so useful! My kids and I would reuse the same bag 20 times!
And stinky diapers! Gosh, what would I have done back then!
I totally understand the need to reduce and recyle....but whether I buy or get for free...I am Still using a plastic bag! And they were always recyled when done.
Don't tell NYS, but I have friends in other states......hee hee

I take it out to my big trash bin at least once a day. And it is hidden do no one sees it.
Lucky you @4kitties
NYS banned our grocery bags and I sure miss them. Used them for everything....over and over again!
What is the diff if I buy a plastic kitchen trash bag or use the small ones I got from grocery stores?
A bag is a Bag!!!! Except now I gotta pay for them. They were recyclable too!
@RespectLife Odd to me that body wash is not an issue. I'd far rather have a trash bag and bar of soap that body wash in a giant plastic container with a plastic pump.
Or a red party cup. We only worry about some plastic.

I guess I'm missing it too, because I have one with the foot pedal too. I think I paid about $45 for it. No problem with the foot pedal, it’s an easy open.

@RespectLife , I agree about the plastic store bags. I use them for my garbagae bags, too. Also, good for use when walking your dogs. Wegman's no longer supplies them.I figure it's just to save the store $$$, but I haven't noticed the prices going down any. I'm sure others will eventually follow suit.

A platic bag that stuff comes in from a store wouldn't hold any amount of garbage for us. They aren't big enough.

We have to bring our own bags in NY and NJ. No plastic bags given out.
