I don't see any hostility, but it is difficult to get the sense of different posts when the original comment was edited out entirely and then replaced with something innocuous.

Just my opinion, but Squirrel Brand used to be a very nice brand.  I used to give their nuts for Christmas gifts.  They had the creme brûlée almonds that came in a very large, nice reusable box made from wood.   Then one year I saw their products at Sam's and I haven't given Squirrel Brand items for gifts since then.
