For me, it depends on how the pan is used and taken care of.  My BF likes TFal and is always using Pam spray on them.  I've been purchasing more expensive pans at holiday time when the coupons and deals are more prevelent. 

 

So far, I've gotten a Greenpan, Scanpan, Le Crueset.  I don't use spray, but oil, butter or water and always handwash them. Use the Greenpan the most, but for even cooking and no burning, the Scanpan is the best. It was a Scanpan CTO from Sur La Table.

I love my Gotham Steel no stick copper

 

Much better than Copper Chef.

For non stick, Curtis Stone's Durapan. Can use metal utensils.
