Fruitcake

I made my fruitcake and have another batch to make. I had to order my fruit from Amazon since I couldn't find it in the stores here so I have extra. I've never frozen fruitcake and wonder how long it would keep in the freezer. I don't put any rum or any alcohol on it. Anyone freeze fresh fruitcake?
