Tomorrow is my good friends bday.  She invited girls for brunch but with spouse sick I won't attend.  (I'm sure it would be fine but won't take any chances).

I told her I would send her dessert -- she was thrilled.  She doesn't know I made her favorite carrot cake with cream cheese icing and of course, her other fav Lindt truffles🙂

Tomorrow is my best friends birthday. I took the day off from work to make her a Pavlova with mixed Berries. I hope it turns out ok. The hardest part is when to decide to take it to her. Its so delucate that if it is assembled, one only has about 4 hours to eat it. I may take unassebled so in case someone baked her a cake she can assemble next day or New Years. The meringue will keep. The whipped cream will not.

All of this is because I've never used my whip attachment on my Kitche Aid mixer! So now i will have really used it! Lots of research for this too. I will have to make one for myself to see how it comes out!
