The fresh corn we buy at Shoprite is always excellent.  

 

We bought some from Lidl this week, it was not and won't buy it from there again.

Night owl.when buying watermelon I allways look for it to be yellow on one side that means it ripened on the ground in the sun. If there's no yellow that means it didn't ripened in the sun. I bought corn on the cob 3 for a dollar and I bought  I bought 12. Haven't had them yet.I vacuum sealed them and froze them.
