Food Processor or Chopper question

I like to make soups and stews etc, and hate chopping up veggies. So should I be looking at a food processor or food chopper? I've looked at a few Kitchen Aid models, and some come interchangable discs or some just have the blade.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
