Food Packaging is Too Big! and Customer Ratings

QVC, PLEASE provide smaller options on your food products!  I would really like to try some of the items, but what am I going to do with a 7" or 3 lb Junior's cake?  St Clair Side Dish 4 (2 lb) side dish combo? Emeril's 7 lbs of Meatballs? Valerie Bertinelli's 60 piece mini quicke sampler?  I am a senior and live alone. Also, do QVC Product Specialists monitor customer comments/feedback?  I'm surprised some of the items are still being carried.

They should have sampler sizes so you could try it without having to order and possibly not like it.  I would definitely try many things which could lead to me ordering regularly if they did that.

This comes up from time to time, but the fact of the matter is the cost would be prohibitive.  The shipping would be more than the price of the food, so it would be a hard sell, when you could get the larger quantity for the same amount of money out the door.

@bty890The sizes are really too big for me also, but I think it's like Costco where the prices are dependent on those large sales.  Even at CVS, it's the big sizes that are cheaper -  I just purchased something there this week and found that if I bought a third more, I'd be spending a third less per item.  It wasn't a product with an expiration date and I just It's fhappened to have a coupon worth almost another third!  I have almost no storage, but I'll find it to save the dollars.

I'm not even sure how much more I'd be buying if they offered smaller quantities.  I suspect not much.

A few of our better local restaurants, chef owned, who branched out and produced items to be sold locally in the frozen section of the grocery stores.

There is no comparison.

The frozen product is just not as good as fresh prepared.

I'm not going to waste my time & $$$ ordering from QVC at any price or quantity

Some people don't have better local restauants, some want to try something new, some don't want to cook, and so on and so forth.  I do understand ordering food,

I agree with the other poster who says it has to be economical so therefore the larger packages.  Hopefully most of it you could freeze the rest for later.  Lots of it would be easy to parcel out and keep.
