Flaws in Bubble & Brown TSV --- Rachael check the quality control

I'm disappointed in the Bubble and Brown TSV. I purchased three sets, one for myself and two as gifts. My set has three flaws (the gifts have not been opened yet). Both of the 24oz pieces have inverted bubbles which expose the white under the colored glaze. The lid for the 2qt piece also has a bubble. There is a crack in the 3.5qt. deep dish. I live within driving distance from Newell, WV. where Fiesta Ware is manufactured. Those bubbles are considered seconds and the crack never would have been placed in the second's bin for purchase. I realize we received many pieces, however, the bottom line is, they never should have been sold as top quality items. The thought of shipping them back, is frustrating to say the least. Rachael, this is my first purchase of your Bubble & Brown, once again. so very disappointing! {#emotions_dlg.crying}

I agree with you for being upset. If I pay top dollar for something, I better get top dollar merchandise.

Sounds like it's defective and QVC should pay for return shipping. I only keep perfect merchandise. I won't settle for anything less.

I understand the disappointment, and agree they should do a better job. One cannot, however, call this "top dollar" merchandise, and it is not comparable to FW. If you want FW, buy FW, but do not buy cheap ceramics from China and complain that it is not the same as FW.

Sorry you were disappointed. I got mine yesterday and it is beautiful. And KYToby - personally I don't care for FW, it is not my style and I don't like the look. I recieved some as gifts and put it an a garage sale. To each their own.

Make sure you call customer service before you return so that QVC covers return shipping due to defect.

I agree with calling Q's CS before you send anything back. I would check out the other pieces,(the gifts, a pain I'm sure for you to do) and see if any bubbles/cracks are in those. If you really like R&R's bake ware, order again & see if maybe the one set(s) you got happened to be a "fluke", maybe from a certain factory? Good luck!

I do not call this "top dollar" merchandise either. There are many other brands of baking dishes that are.

You can arrange for pick up by UPS or USPS through customer service since the product is defective. I have done this when the item is very heavy.
