Oh wow! Isn't that just gorgeous! Definitely need some Poppy in my kitchen. Thanks for the look! I have a couple place settings of Tangerine. This seems to be a bit darker. It will look beautiful for the summer. I also have a couple place settings of the brighter green; I can never remember what it's called.....might be Shamrock, but I'm not sure. Anyway, the combination of the green and the orange/Tangerine is so summery to me. Can't wait to get some Poppy, too! Thanks!

What other colors do you ladies think will "go" with Poppy?

I currently have marigold, peacock, chartreuse, shamrock and tangerine.

Would Poppy clash with tangerine?

From pictures, it looks like Poppy might go better with more muted colors.

TIA.

Congrats! Enjoy them in good health. Smile

I was a Fiestaware "virg*in" as well, and just got my own first piece at Amazon; great prices and a wide selection.

Here's my 'exciting' new mug, bought just for my morning cup of caffeinated tea, LOL. But it's also my way of sneaking extra water in throughout my day and evening, as I switch to decaf and then herbal.

The hue of green tea looks especially nice against the blue shade of the mug...

I LOVE these jumbo mugs. I use them for soup, chili, lots of stuff!

terrier3--look at the top picture that FelineFine posted and look at the top right hand side, in the back of the shot. From the right, is Scarlet, Poppy, Tangerine, Sunflower, Lemongrass and then Shamrock (that is as far as I can identify).

We can only guess how it will really look but I bet Poppy will look good with Chartreuse, Lemongrass and Marigold. I think that Poppy may look good with Cobalt, too. The absolute best way to tell is to go to the Homer Laughlin site and click on "colorama". It is a program that allows you to change the colors of the place setting to any color of Fiesta that you have to see how they work together. Poppy has just been added. Have fun!

I am thinking Poppy might look like the vintage Radiation Red? But brighter. Hoping.

I always get Fiesta onsale, I have never paid retail, except for the fruit bowls. Homer Laughlin is a wonderful company, but I find unless they have a special, they are higher than sale at Macys, Bon Ton's, Belks, Kohls and the lot. JMHO

Since fallen in love w/Fiesta I've been gradually adding pieces. This weekend went to Macy's one day sale (had coupon $10 off $20 purchase; 20% off all other purchases)

I scored: I bought 4 augratin dishes (single serve $28.00) on the clearance shelf for $14.00 less the 40% now $10.40/each. I broke it into separate orders after both coupons I paid $8.12 each.

Then I took the coupons to my local Kohl's which were $15 off $35 and purchased my oval platter - serving piece. Using the coupons and my 20% off w/Kohls charge they came to 18.58 both from clearance area.

I'm loving these plates to serving prices...a little heavy and bulky for my cabinets (and store) yet I love setting the table and entertaining with these fabulous colors. and wow they bake great!

I saw "Poppy" today at Herbergers!!!! They had it next to Lapis and Cobalt, which made it stand out. It is a burnt orange to my thinking. Its pretty!!

Much darker and deeper than tangerine, I held tangerine next to it . I tried paprika- that was more rust next to it and darker. Anyway the lighting was so off cuz they had it in a spotlight. I have one piece of tangerine and I won't buy anymore so I doubt I will get this.

Paprika is more to my taste. I don't have any white, black, scarlet, shamrock or plum and never will. I have a lot of cobalt & marigold and all the other colors mixed in to keep them company!! Have a good day everyone!

My sister, who lives in Ohio, is not far from the outlet. She had gone to the tent sale and gotten great deals. I live too far to do that and get good deals on sales etc like you said. I mix all colors also. The colors make me happy!! Got an email from the factory, they are taking orders for the new color POPPY.

I think they just had a tent sale back around the end of April, something like that, and that was why the selection in the outlet wasn't that great.

There's a seconds store in the Poconos area of Pennsylvania....I've been there and found wonderful bargains. You have to really look at the pieces (because they are seconds), but there's still a good chance that you'll find something you're looking for.

I love Fiesta. It's made in the US and it's a good quality product.

Ooooh, Poppy! I would like Poppy! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I am only an hour away from the Poconos and didn't know about the seconds store. I go to the Tannersville Outlets often, so have to check out the Fiesta ware Love the poppy.
Thanks
