I just bought salad plates and 12 oz mugs from Macy's online - 20%-plus 10.00 after spending 30.00 or more-- off with a coupon I received in the mail as a card hold. You can get a code when you order. Kohl's also has a sale going on, but Macy's for me, was a better deal.

Love Fiestaware; all my dinnerware, serving pieces, bakeware, etc. is Fiestaware.

My most cherished pieces are those from the 50's that belonged to my Mother.

OK, I went off topic; I do buy some Fiestware products from Kohls but I find better deals at Macys. Enjoy your new items.

Congrats! Enjoy them in good health. Smile

I was a Fiestaware "virg*in" as well, and just got my own first piece at Amazon; great prices and a wide selection.

Here's my 'exciting' new mug, bought just for my morning cup of caffeinated tea, LOL. But it's also my way of sneaking extra water in throughout my day and evening, as I switch to decaf and then herbal.

The hue of green tea looks especially nice against the blue shade of the mug...

I am slowly adding to my Fiestaware collection and love Macy's sales. I have a pie plate saved on Amazon also.

We just came back from a visit to the Fiesta outlet in Newell, W VA. To be honest, I was rather disappointed. If you don't shop the outlet, the regular prices are insanely expensive...at least I thought so. I think you can check for store coupons and wait til Fiesta goes on sale at the local stores and do much better with your purchases than at the store in Newell.

We did peruse the outlet with the Fiesta seconds and there wasn't the selection I thought there would be (but I think they just had a tent sale not too long ago). We did buy a couple serving dishes in Scarlet and the really large mixing bowl in Cinnabar (I thought that would be great for raising yeast doughs). We bought 12 salad plates to use for the cats' food dishes; we have six cats, so that's two meals daily for them.

I don't concentrate on just one color because I love all the colors and they make such a pretty table setting. But DH loves Scarlet, so I think most of our serving pieces are in Scarlet.

There was an absolutely gorgeous large soup tureen with matching ladle...in Marigold (which is now discontinued). I would have loved to have it and we thought long and hard about buying it. But it was pretty expensive and I left it down there. They are now making the large beverage containers on a pedestal in various colors. It's really pretty, but I can't afford $300 for a beverage container.

My sister, who lives in Ohio, is not far from the outlet. She had gone to the tent sale and gotten great deals. I live too far to do that and get good deals on sales etc like you said. I mix all colors also. The colors make me happy!! Got an email from the factory, they are taking orders for the new color POPPY.

I think they just had a tent sale back around the end of April, something like that, and that was why the selection in the outlet wasn't that great.

There's a seconds store in the Poconos area of Pennsylvania....I've been there and found wonderful bargains. You have to really look at the pieces (because they are seconds), but there's still a good chance that you'll find something you're looking for.

I love Fiesta. It's made in the US and it's a good quality product.

Ooooh, Poppy! I would like Poppy! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
