I have just inherited a set of Fiesta Ware. I think it has all the colors with all the extra pieces as well. I haven't opened the boxes yet. I have a storage unit full of boxes and can't bring myself to touch them.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I stopped by Macy's yesterday to look at colors. I really like the poppy with sunflower and lemongrass, but I'm afraid I'd get tired of it too quickly. I'm still thinking paprika, tangerine and adding some sunflower for a bright pop.

You could buy fruit dishes in the colors you are considering, and live with them for a while before deciding. If you think it is possible that you may decide to return, don't use them yet, keep the price sticker attached and keep your receipt. If you decide (within a reasonable period of time) that you changed your mind about the color you can do a return. They are so small and handy, I have about 14 of them in 8 different colors. Reasonably priced, especially during a sale.

I have all the colors, pretty much. It's a rainbow in my dish cabinet over here, and I like it that way. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} If I was choosing between 2 colors, I would probably choose two that were very different, say a cobalt and an orange. But that's just me and what I like. So many options. Have fun. Smiley Happy

Well I just ordered 4 place settings of paprika from Kohl's to replace the poppy that I returned. I'm going to get some tangerine from Macys. Their sale is on through 8/18. After returning the poppy I am thinking that it would probably be a good accent color with the other two. Ugh so many choices! Thanks again for all of your input.

I have all the colors, too, and it looks so pretty in my China cabinet. A lot of our serving pieces are in Scarlet because DH loves that color; we do have a few other colors for our serving pieces. But we have all the colors in our place settings...I think I could serve a small army using our Fiesta and still have some place settings left over. I love Fiesta and have been collecting it now for decades.

I received 4 place settings of paprika from Kohl's. They were packed very poorly. The box was partially open and one place setting was broken. I called customer service and they are sending a replacement with no shipping charge and I can throw away the broken pieces and don't have the hassle of going back to the store. I love the paprika color. It's like a spice color. Next week I'll go to Macys for a second color - probably tangerine

I'm sorry some of your pieces were broken, glad they are replacing w/o a hassel. I ordered from Kohl's, too, but mine were very well packed & in perfect condition on arrival.

I'm glad you like the paprika. It is a good choice. I kind of wish I could have a few pieces of all the colors. I find I like most of them.

Homer Laughlin has an app on their webpage. You can put together place settings using different colors to see if you life the effect.

I have sunflower, poppy, peacock, lemongrass...and a few pieces of shamrock and red too.

My main dishes were Pottery Barn whites from 30 years ago, they mix & match nicely with Fiesta.

I inherited my mom's pieces too. They are all pastels from the 50s - gray, pink, yellow and turquoise.

I love the colors of Fiesta but it's so heavy that I just can't handle them anymore.
