@Kachina624  That is such a pretty cake! The wavy hair, the pink lipstick, the pink roses, the dress! I'd feel terrible cutting the first slice into it since its such a masterpiece of a cake!!

My teacher daughter would have loved that cake as a child, and "torn it up" appetite wise.   My trucker daughter would've also "torn it up" to get "that stupid Barbie off" so she could have cake!

@Kachina624  That cake is gorgeous! I can't even imagine all the hours involved, just making all those roses.

  My mother made a doll cake for my tenth birthday. In the center was a Betsy McCall doll. She decorated the cake dress with blue

frosting, in a ruffle pattern. That was my favorite color at the time.

  I loved it, but it was not as elaborate as the one in your picture.

It is beautiful and much talent went into the delicate details.

That is absolutely stunning!  Can you imagine the look on a little girl's face when she sees that?  Wish I had the talent and patience to do that.  Best I can do is ready made frosting from a tub!  LOL!!!
