I've tried to use them. At my Chinese Restaurant they have the "trainer" with the wedge of
paper and rubber band to hold it together. Then I got a plastic set with the top hinged
together. I'll have to get on You Tube for a lesson. I'll have to keep practicing!!!

Part of the fun in going to a Japanese or Chinese restaurant is eating with chopsticks. It's not that difficult. The "cheaters" prevent someone from learning. The trick is in keeping one of the sticks stable and the other as the "pincher". Keep practicing, you'll get the hang of it.

Funny day. I just happened to use some today, had sushi for dinner. Years ago when I first tried using chopsticks it was frustrating, I was lucky if I got half the food in my mouth. Now it seems like I've used them forever. Practice makes perfect.
