Favorite way to roast a ham?

I am doing a family dinner for 12 the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I have been doing in my lidless roasting pan and using a ham glaze. My son and daughter in law use the electric roaster and bake over night. Theirs is delicious but I feel like I would be over baking. I don't want to mess up for company.
