I don't even use my salt and pepper shakers anymoe. I don't use salt and pepper I put in my palm and sprinkle with my fingers.

I don't, either.   It's been quite a long time since I did but that didn't stop me from having several sets of s&p shakers (purchased pretty  much exclusively because of 'cuteness').      Sad to say, I bet I could pull out at least a dozen sets of s&p shakers, none of which have ever actually had s&p in them.   

For baking, of course, I always have some iodized salt but I keep that in a L&L and for general seasoning I use kosher salt which is also put in L&L except some that I keep on the counter in a nice olivewood container. 

 The pepper is in a mill, except for the overage which is in a large glass Penzey's jar.

Thank Ya!     I tend to go a bit gaga over cute animal stuff and especially birdie stuff.
