What is your favorite summer dessert?

Mine would be:  Keylime Pie

Close second:  Peach Cobbler

Shortcake and cobbler; cherry, strawberry, peach, and blackberry.

Anything lemon. So refreshing in the summer but love it all year round

I make a white cake and drop spoonfuls of lemon pie filling over it, bake it and then frost it with cool whip. So good. Sometimes I mix lemon frosting & cool whip together for the frosting.

I don't eat desserts anymore.  Well, maybe at weddings.  When I did eat desserts, I loved strawberry shortcake.  The genuine kind made with buscuits and fresh strawberries and real whipped cream.

Wow, @Regal Bee, we seem to have the same taste in desserts.

Key lime pie is always the first thing that catches my eye - on a menu, in a store, in a recipe book, wherever.

Talenti gelato has a "key lime pie" flavor.

And peach cobbler - with biscuit topping.

Fresh summer fruits like cantaloupe,honeydew & watermelon. I cut them in cubes & mix them together & store them in a giant lock & lock container!! Yummy 😋!!
