Usinger's liver sausage on dark rye bread with spicy brown mustard.  Guess it's my German heritage.

When I used to eat meat, I LOVED a thinly sliced ham and provolone cheese sub sandwich.Yum!😋 Today it is a thinly sliced smoked salmon sandwich!😊

I always thought polish loaf was sort of similar to bologna but with green olives

Sort of - more on the 'blah' side than olive/pimento loaf.

Re: Favorite Lunch Meat / Cold Cuts

@eddyandme     Thanks for the explanation.  It sounds like something my moms bought before is the reason I asked.  She and my dad like some rather interesting deli cuts like a pimento loaf too.

I looked for the brand on my packages, but could only find it on the turkey.  It's Sara Lee honey roasted turkey.  The label on the roast beef must've not printed off right this time because it wasn't in there.

I do know a lb of my roast beef is around $12.56. The turkey is $10.77 for a lb.

I've been getting the low sodium turkey breast from WalMart and I really like it .

Mine would be Kretschmer honey turkey shaved. Second would be Boar's Head.

That may be the name of it.  I called it pimento loaf in an earlier post, but it's this I think.

I have to have my lunch meat so thinly sliced it's actually shaved too.  I don't know why, but it makes a difference in the way it tastes to me.

I could probably eat lunch meat I'm not even a fan of if it were shaved thin enough lol.
