Farmer Jon's Virtually Hulless Popcorn

[ Edited ]

Sorry, but this is funny to me.

Rick just did a presentation selling Farmer Jon's Virtually Hulless Special White Popcorn.

His next item is the Flipo Set of 2 Pocket Tools. Rick is coughing & coughing, trying to clear his throat.  He said he has popcorn in his throat and may need to lower his mic!    Well the show must go on; he's clearing his throat and coughing throughout the presentation.

How many people cancelled their virtually hulless popcorn order? Smiley LOL

Rick did the best he could in that situation.  He just thanked Sean Pickford, the brand rep for the pocket tools, for "jumping in and saving the day."  Smiley Very Happy

@Caaareful Shopper Orville Redenbacher's white popcorn is far better about hulls than the yellow.  It's what we like.  Just a note here. . .

Heard of this popcorn but never tried it. Sounds too good to be true. Maybe like the seedless watermelons I've bought that are never seedless. 🤔

I got an order of Farmer Jon's product several years ago that had so many hulls that I went right back to Orville Reddenbacher which is consistently relatively hullness.  No more Farmer Jon for me.

My family's opinion was "it's just popcorn".   There was nothing special about it at all to make a repeat order.

What does hulls have to do with coughing?  It could have been salty and dried out his throat or a kernel of corn.  He could have choked on his own saliva or yes a hull.

I have had Farmer Jon's popcorn and it is 99.9% hull free and the best popcorn we have had.  There were a few hulls but few and far between.

My husband enjoys his popcorn and this he likes Farmer John's the best.

The coughing could be that popcorn tends to be dry and therefore that was what was causing the cough.

@Imaoldhippie  Why does everything have to be antagonistic?  It was an ironic occurrence on live TV.  My goodness! It was humorous. So many seem to have lost a sense of humor.

Hull or kernel, Rick himself said he had the popcorn stuck in his throat. Did you even watch the video?

It was no big deal.  Enjoy your popcorn.
