Fantastic Toaster Oven/Rotisserie Combo

I have been in the market for a new toaster oven and, after reading all the reviews on here about the Breville, had decided that was the one I wanted. I even signed up and received my 20% off coupon at BBB. I decided to take one last look around to see what else was out there because I was in the market for a new rotisserie also. I had the Popeil Showtime rotisserie and used it for about 8 years before it finally wore out. I used it to death and really missed it.

Well low and behold, I found a Waring Pro commercial toaster oven that has bake, broil, convection, AND a rotisserie. It's all stainless just like the Breville, comes in two sizes - the .9 cubic inch will handle a quarter sheet pan (9 x 13 pan) which is the same size as the Breville, or the 1.5 cubic inch that handles a half sheet pan. You can put a 14 lb. turkey on the rotisserie spit of the larger one.

What I found especially appealing about the Waring Pro model was that it is not digital. I'm not a super fan of digital apliances because it's just something else to break. I would much rather have the old fashioned dials and timers.

The smaller .9 is comparable to the Breville in price, but the larger one is half again as much. I bought the larger one on sale at Sears. I LOVE this appliance!! It actually bakes better than my wall oven does. It's definitely worth checking out if you are in the market for a 'toaster oven', although this is so much more. I can't wait to try a couple of chickens on the rotisserie this weekend.
