I mostly use it for finely chopping celery, onion, carrots, and garlic. I don't like my soups with large pieces or chunks of ingredients floating around in the soup.It does a greyt job.

But, I am wanting to branch out of my rut and wonder what you are also using it for.

I use it to cut vegetables for  soup and for frozen butter and flour to make pastry.

I no longer have the need for a full size food processor. I have a small electric chopper that I use to chop vegetables same as you.  I have also made hummus and peanut butter with it.

I use mine to shred cabbage for coleslaw.

i use mine for finely chopping ingredients for my dressing.

i also like using it to chop nuts.

also great for making baby foods.

if you like dips and spreads, it can also be used to blend these ingredients together.

I use my FP every day.  I make large vats of salad so I chop and slice cucumbers, carrots, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, radishes and celery.  I shred zuchinni for making breads and muffins.

I shred hard cheese...I never buy pre shredded.  I make pie dough and dumpling dough, salad dressing, chop nuts, and slice fruit, slice potatoes and mine has a French fry disc to julienne potatoes. I also make bread crumbs and streusel topping and pesto.

I chop eggs, chicken, ham and turkey for making meat salads.  In fact, I add all the ingredients together and chop away.

It's great for making salsa too.  I am sure there is much more.  I wouldn't be without one.

I use mine for everything Carmie mentioned except dumping dough , I don’t make dumplings , I use it to make coleslaw , I’ve chopped / shredded chocolate for toppings
I’m sure there’s more I use the food processor almost daily for something
Tonight I shredded carrots , sliced cucumbers and radishes for chef salad
