Expresso Maker Suggestions???

Daugher wants to give her significant other a special b-day present this year. She wants to get an expresso maker and both of us are not even coffee drinkers! The selection out there is overwhelming. Can someone help us at least narrow down what features to look for?

Brand preference would be a big help too. Her price range is up to $200. She'll probably have to order it online, since this is an item not normally stocked except before Christmas. We're leaning towards BB&B because of their generous return policy, but would also consider Costco if we found something there.

We would certainly appreciate any suggestions for this purchase! TIA!
