But the good thing about Evine is that they always bring things back and very often as a TS again. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this doesn't have another TS run and this time there'll be reviews to go along with it.

I have the larger induction NUWAVE you are talking about, and frankly, I'm not that crazy about it because it makes so much noise, due to what must be a very high-powered fan. Also stays pretty hot on top after cooking is done and the pan removed.
The noise really is bad, and I don't see how the presenters can claim you can set it on a table and keep foods warm.........would like to know if your smaller burners are noisy, too???
Got mine last year in white color when it was an HSN special with a carrying case, 1800 watts. It does cook nicely. And yes, it adjusts the temp in smaller increments than the lower-wattage models.

I have the one you have novamc and the previous model plus another one (the original induction burner that I bought). As far as I'm concerned they are all pretty loud but since it's the only thing working in my house I can put up with it but I agree if you are having dinner with people it would be more than a bit distracting . . . this new one must be like a 747 taking off in your kitchen!

But mtc, it wasnt on Evine, was it? It was on HSN...the one on Evine was the rectangular 1500 watt one, right?
now that you guys mention it, I CAN hear it, but I am usually in the other room when it's on, unless frying.....
thanks for for all the input!

ACK! Sorry, my bad . . . I'm getting my kitchen gadgets mixed up! Evine had the air fryer, HSN had the new and improved induction cooktop!
Sorry ladies!
