Re: Evine vs QVC Cooking all day!

Used my round flip pan from Evine for the first time today.

I am in love with a pan.It is the perfect size for me-live alone, but would be good for 2 people.

I browned 2 pork chops, added 2 sliced potatos, poultry seasoning, little chopped onion, can of mushrooms, not drained.

Closed it up,it is a low pressure pan, 30 min. done.

Washed up with just a little soap and water, rinse, dried, rub a little oil in both pans. Can be used as 2 pans also as it comes apart.

Re: Evine vs QVC Cooking all day!

I don't care to watch cooking (or anything else!) all day on any shopping channel!  I watch TV shopping presentations (usually a couple of favorite fashion designers) only occasionally and find the all-day events a huge bore.  I can't imagine sitting there having sales people push stuff at me hour after hour.  Miserable.

The absolute WORST are the "Christmas in July" days.  Please.  Spare me.

Thank you so much for coming back and letting us know how the pan worked out.  Wow, it sounds like a winner . . . again, now it really is too bad that Evine and I parted ways as this would definitely be on my list of things I need . . . Smiley Happy

Congratulations, so glad you like your pan!

Re: Evine vs QVC Cooking all day!

I just watched them demo on Ervine. The lady on the Sizzle, demo'd the pizza box. I could not understand anything they were saying I think she is a Brit. My family wanted to know if I was watching a foreign station? Is it me or did those people who hire her come from a different planet?

does QVC or HSN have a flip pan?

HSN has a Nuwave 1800 watt induction burner with free AeroKnife as their TS today.  I got a white one and am glad I can use it for the Curtis Stone pan I recently got.

My NuWave inducition burner is only 1200 watts and I m seriously considering upgrading  it- I love using my Curtis Stone pan on it- Does anyone remember how many watts the one on Evine was about 2 weeks ago?

I am pretty sure the Evine burner was 1500w.  What's nice about this one is that it has the double coil so it will heat more evenly along the outside of a larger pan.  I can't justify buying yet another one but I sure would love to upgrade.

I cant justifyy it either, but the dual coil would be great, the edges DO have trouble heating..

i just WANT it.....waaaaa!
