I had to laugh at them, but I feel so much sympathy too. I've never made cake pops, but I just know my cake pops would be moon rock blobs with googly eyes.

I have made a hedgehog cake a couple of times, and mine turned out pretty good. I suspect the one in the picture is intentionally awful. I think it's the teeth.

They never left the house.. too embarrassing. DH said, "Take the sticks out. I'll eat them." He said they were delicious.

I am the only cook/baker whose efforts have always fallen way short of Ina Garten's recipes. I've stopped trying.

Tried to make small gingerbread houses with the grandkids last Christmas...the icing didn't glue right so the roof peaks fell; they all looked like little outhouses; just needed the little halfmoon on the doors!
