I received my TSV Emeril Air Fryer today in the blue. It is very well made and packed really good. All the pieces were there and I am very pleased so far.The recipe cards are very good as they are color photos and done with a plastic coating so you can wipe them off. The basket just slides in the air fryer and you push the release on the handle when taking it out. BE SURE to have it on a flat secure surface when taking it out. Emeril stressed this so it doesn't fall on the floor. I will wash it up and probably use it to make lunch on Sunday. I have to see a surgeon tomorrow and my husband has to have an Endoscopy on Thursday. I will decide what to make on Sunday. The basket is plenty large enough to feed 2-3 people easily. The blue is almost an exact match to my Perfect Cooker and they both are on my counter. The air fryer looks bigger than expected but it doesn't take up much more room than expected when I measured before ordering it. Good luck to all when they receive theirs.
Hope everyone will post what we make to help each other. ![]()

Thanks for reporting back and I am glad it is well build and promises to be a good product.
After I cancelled this thing twice when it was the TSV, I was telling a friend, who had never heard of an air fryer before, all about it and showing her Meredith's cookbook yesterday, I decided to go ahead and order it. Now, of course, I can't wait to get it. I will put it on an 8" round silicon trivet.
Good luck with both your and your husband's medical issues. Hope all will be well.

Thanks Clem. I was surprised at the nice weight it was and that told me how good it was made. I never received recipe cards so nice with an item before. They are also things I would eat unlike some recipe cards that come with other small appliances. If it cooks as good as it looks we all will be happy. The extra pans that came with it are nice also. I will keep a piece of silicone under mine until I see how how it gets underneath also. ![]()

I would have bought one--good deal, but already had another brand. I use mine for lots of things. I love that the mess is contained. I have been roasting my veggies in it lately. I made roasted broccoli last night and it was delish! I had one of the fresh broccoli in the bag from the produce department. I just dumped it in a ziplock, poured in a drizzle of avocado oil and some seasonings and shook it. Put in the basket and cooked for about 10-15 minutes (shaking it a couple of times) until it was toasty brown. cooked on 350. Yum! My son uses it to heat frozen black bean burgers. It gets the outside a little crunchy. I hardly ever use my stove or oven because I am using my gadgets--air fryer, Ninja 4 in 1, electric pressure cooker and rice cooker! Love them all!

@kiamom23 Sounds yummy. I love roasted broccoli and vegetables. Now I won't have to watch them other than shaking them a few times. Using a Ziplock bag is a good thing to evenly coat them too. Thanks for the feedback.

@MKR14 welcome to the wonderful world of air frying!
There have been a lot of threads for the past few months since they have been introduced that you could scan through but what I would recommend is looking up other brands of air fryers (either here or on other networks) and downloading whatever on line recipes they may provide (I especially recommend Paula Deen's. She has some great looking recipes).
I also have spent hours on YouTube watching demonstration videos . . . highly entertaining and informative.
Always feel free to post any questions or concerns you may have as there are a lot of us on these boards that own and love our fryers . . . again, welcome aboard! ![]()

Oh @Hoovermom, c'mon in the water is fine! . . . ![]()
I bought one of the original ones and have never looked back. The first thing I did was dump a small tray of chicken wings in there after seasoning them and let 'er rip. After 20 minutes or so and a shake or two of the basket during cooking I had the best chicken wings I have ever had.
You may want to get your feet wet with something like frozen french fries just to get the feel but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy to use and I love the results!

That is so funny! This is what happened to me when I got the pressure cooker and even more when I got the Vitamix. I am waiting for my air fryer and hope I will be a little bit more brave. Have a nice big head of cauliflower waiting to be slaughtered for the inauguration of the air fryer.
