Email safety video for Cooks Essential Air Fryer Today

Did anyone else get the email today? I had the disaster happen to me. I put the CE fryer on my glass top stove and used it. When I unplugged it, I must have hit the dial for turning on my burner and then walked out of the room. Next was a horrible smell. I went to check it out and my CE fryer was melting all over my stove top. Never, ever use this unit on your stove top.

yes, I received the email this morning. I have the original - it was the first CE air fryer tsv - I've never had a problem with mine. My only question was this morning, why take so long in letting people know this information? I've had my fryer for a few years.

How sad. I hope your stove top wasn't ruined. I got the email, watched the video. It seems my usage has been pretty safe, but people must be having problems to prompt this.

Sorry that happened. I did not get the email unless I deleted it.

I never set anything on my stove except pots & pans for cooking in fear of something like that happening.

DH always sets stuff on the stove. I have to tell him not to do that. You never know when a burner will accidentally be turned on.

Someone else did that with a pressure cooker. I bought the spare parts from them on Ebay so DH could fix ours.

It has to be dangerous to put any electrical appliance on the stove.

Seems like an accident or explosion waiting to happen.

The controls on my glass top stove are knobs that must be turned and they're mounted high on the back. I have limited counter space and use it as work space. No problems.

I got the email and deleted it...gave that specific air fryer away.

This is the problem your stove was on, not a malefunction of the air fryer. Also I would never use an Air-Fryer without the turn table under it. I don't trust it on my counter top directly.
