I don't have # 1, 2, or 4. Had an electric kettle years ago but found the mineral. I found the constant mineral buildup and trying to keeping it clean just took too  much time. Now I boil water in the microwave faster and easier.

I get the most delicious roasts out of my slow cooker using onions, fresh mushrooms, and burgundy wine.  Rump roasts are easy to pull apart.
