@Icegoddess  I should have watched that video - thanks. No, the slits don't go through from the top, but they are open on the bottom so that if, somehow, liquid got into them, there would be liquid inside which could prove difficult to get out. I know to be careful and not immerse, but things happen and something could get in there.
