Just purchased a new stainless percolator today and had a question. Hubs and I were talking about how our moms always put a pinch of salt in with the grounds. Does anyone still do that and why? I'm just dying to use this tomorrow. Do you use the same scoop that you use for a drip? Oh...it's been a long time :-) Thanks in advance! MaryKatie
