I was flipping throught the channels a little after 12am and saw that Curtis Stone was on. He's the only one I watch. The only thing I haven't bought is the bakeware and don't plan to.

I had a feeling I already had one of his skillets but couldn't resist it so of course I bought the red. Before I did that I checked Spendable Cash and found a Coupon for $10 so that made it even better.

All his products are easy to clean. I have a friend who was afraid to wash an electric skillet so I told her to put a piece of tape over the heating element because she was afraid that water would somehow would get in.

My friend who bought one before said she uses it to brown sausages and she said nothing sticks to it. She bought a second one today so she can cook the rest of the breakfast at the same time. Sausage in one skillet, eggs in another.

Don't know if anyone remembers the frying pan from Cooks Essentials that had a divider in the middle. You could cook two different meals at the same time. It was about 14inches and worked on the stove. It was great for cooking eggs on one side and bacon or sausage on the other.

Now I have to go and look for mine in the boxes in the garage.

I have a Cuisinart electric skillet.  I'm using it right now.  Onions, peppers and diced potatoes.

I love an electric skillet.  I moved into a new house sometime ago and still haven't unpacked all my kitchen ware yet so now I have two.

My nephew would love what you are cooking so I'll make that for him for breakfast with eggs and sausage.

You say it is easy to clean.  Does it have a non-stick coating?  I have a Saladmaster one bought decases ago.  It is stainless steel.  I haven't used in in years, but that's mostly because I don't know how to cook that much I guess. The only way I was ever able to cook fried chicken was after I got a deep fat fryer, but it's really too much trouble.  I just get a breast from Publx every few months and then pay for it with heartburn.

@ his products have a special non stick coating and they are really nonstick and easy to clean. I have a lot of his products and haven't had any problems with them.

I have never owned anything with easier cleanup than the items presented by Curtis.

And I have purchased a lot of stuff over the years.

Easy Clean-up and Curtis are synonymous.

Re: Electric Skillet

[ Edited ]

Received my skillet yesterday (Thursday).

Opened the box just to make sure it was there. Will try it some time next week but I know it will work.

Took the other one from the garage and my sister borrowed it. It's now hers although I was planning to give her the new one. The old one looks as good as the new one. I love his products.

I received mine a few days ago.  I made chicken marsala in it lastnight and it came out perfect.  I can't believe how fast it heats up and how even it cooks the food.  I will be making eggplant parm next in it.
