Curtis Stone is having a electric skillet TS.  I am thinking of ordering.  For those who have one, do you tend to use it a lot?

I am also considering ordering this skillet. Had a Farberware electric skillet from way back in 1967 and used it all the time when I was a young mom because it kept the grease splatters from my stovetop which was very hard to clean because I had the old electric coil burners. Recently donated that skillet because it was much too bulky and heavy for me to handle and wash. The Curtis Stone skillet looks to be much better size and weight, and the non stick interior is a must have for me. My Farberware was not non stick, another reason to donate. Enjoy if you decide to order.

@Pecky I use an electric skillet often. It is the only way I like to fry. Chicken, chicken fried steak, bacon, hash browns, and you name it. I have a square one that comes in a size similar to TS. I also have a larger rectangular one for larger meals.

I use them often and would not be without. I only use the stovetop to brown hamburger, sauté, or anything that might scratch my electric skillets or affect the nonstick surface.

My friend has one from years ago. She still loves it. She just bought another one for her daughter.

I don't think they discussed how to clean it on the presentation.  How do you wash it?  I guess you can't submerge in the sink, due to the electrical connection. So then do you just wipe it out??  I think I need one. My electric stovetop takes 3 steps to get it clean- constantly streaky. So I try not to use it!
Thanks friends and I hope ya love it! 💝

I love CS products, but this is too big for me. I have a 12", which is a perfect size for my needs and this is 14" Woman Sad. I was looking to update mine since I've had it for years. I love mine, use it all the time Woman Happy

I received one as a wedding or shower gift years ago.  I loved it - found it very versatile.  It conked out a few years ago - I really should buy another one.  Great for pancakes and French toast, grilled cheese sandwiches,  and so many other things.  When we were havig our kitchen remodeled it was invaluable.

I had one from the Cooks Essentials line years ago--didn't use it much so gave it away. It tended to leak when the lid was on from the condensation. And it is way too big for my tiny kitchen--so will pass. But do like the Durapan interior--mine ha that awfulblack nonstick. The price is very good.
